To foster seed faculties of participant-centered learning of the NCCU College of Commerce, the college sent the first group of seed faculties to participate in the Program on Case Method and Participant-Centered Learning (PCMPCL) and Global Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning (GCPCL) at Harvard University in August 2005. By 2014 the college has recommended 46 faculties to receive PCMPCL and GCPCL training, over one third of college faculties. After returning to Taiwan, seed faculties are required to promote participant-centered learning in their courses. The college also promotes the apprenticeship for other faculties to observe and learn the case method from the courses offered by seed faculties to fulfill the spirit of participant-centered learning. In the future, the college will continue to send one to two seed faculties to receive PCMPCL and GCPCL training every year, hoping that each department can foster sufficient seed faculties and to raise the case teaching and research standard of the entire NCCU College of Commerce. Between 2005 and 2014, this college has sent the following 46 faculties to receive PCMPCL and GCPCL training.
